Mercs 2 is basically Mercs 1 with more weapons, missions, and a bigger world to explore.

I had a lot of fun playing Mercenaries 2, and even though Gamespot doesnt like it I disagree with them. There is a huge world to explore, and you can cause as much destruction as you like, but you will probably get fined for civillian casualties. I love the vehicles, you can get in Army Jeeps, Tanks, Helicopters, Boats, Armored Cars, APC's, Cargo Trucks, and motorcycles, and its really fun to just drive around sometimes. The AI are somewhat annoying, mainly in bases where unlimited amounts of RPG troops spawn in gun towers, but you have enough health to take a few hits, especially if you are in a tank. I have run into a few glitches, it froze at the menu a few times but thats probably because I have a beaten-up xbox, but you can just restart it and it will probably be fine. Another thing about the game that is great is the explosives. You can strap C4 to something (or someone) and blow it to bits, or you can nuke an entire town if you want. The bottom line is, if you like driving and destruction Mercenaries 2:World in Flames is perfect for you.
