Probably the greatest old-school collection for the PS2, a fans must have! Their was one very minor problem...

I am 27 years old, so as you can imagine, as a megaman fan, I have been playing for a long time. Right from the beginning. I had been waiting for this release for quite awhile and as a matter of fact, I bought this title before I even owned the console to play it on. It was everything it promised to be....

Now, if you bought this title, then you have played at least a few of these games over time, and nothing has really changed. So, you don't really need a review into each game on this title, but I do feel as though one thing should be mentioned about this title.

In order to play the never before released to North America arcade games on this one, you will need to play thru a few of the originals first. The upside to this is that you don't actually have to beat them, just get to the game's final fortress stages. Do this to a few of the originals, and the arcade games will be unlocked for you to play. The downside to this is that you do have to unlock them to play them. Now these arcade games are by no means new, and they weren't created especially for this title so why lock them up like that? Its not a bonus, the whole purpose of the title is having the original Megaman collection avaliable to you... that is why you bought the thing. But, the titles aren't overly hard, and since I started playing right from Megaman 1 "not to mention I had played the arcade version before with the Mame emulator" it was no big deal.

So in short, if your a fan, get this one if you already haven't. If you have been playing the "X" or "Network" series, its definately worth coming over and wraping your hands around the roots of Megaman!
