One of the best FPS on PS2.

Today MoH is a dead series, but during the PS1 and PS2 days they were some of the best FPS games you could play. There is no online, they are single player focused games. If you wanted to play online you look at Quake on PC, if you wanted good single player you looked at MoH.

So i played this game again the other day. I had the urge to play something old. Today i'm a better gamer than before so i decided to unlock all the medals in this game. I start the game and feel weird playing it... it just feels old and so lame. I reach chapter 2 and i start getting the hang of these old controls... and i start having fun. It really is a fun single player game to play, specially if you challenge yourself to get gold medals on all levels. And yes i got all gold playing on HARD. ;b

Reading old magazines i see it got a lot of praise for its graphics. While not bad i don't think it looks that good. The framerate also suffers on occasions.

The guys that made this game did a great job making this game feel like a WWII movie. The music is really good and changes depending on the action. Enemies speak German, which is awesome even though i don't understand them. :)

Something that i noticed was the hit detection... bullets go through enemies depending on their movement animations. It would be pretty crazy if a game today had this problem, but when this game came out i don't see magazines talking about it! How things have changed...

I burned this game up in like 4 days. There isn't much value in any single player only FPS games, so i can't blame them on this. It is what it is. I had fun playing it and had a good challenge getting gold stars. Also there are extras to watch.
