The absolute best 2d fighting game you'll ever play. No questions. This = Masterpiece.
Sound: For the most part the sound effects are top notch gving all 56 of the characters their own sound effect sets. The music on the other hand is abysmally performed jazz/funk tunes. Do yourself a favor and just turn the music bar down in options and just play a CD or something.
Gameplay. Pretty much all I can say is the gameplay is totally original with 3 on 3 battles and probably being the best 2d fighting game ever. Ech of the 56 characters have around 30 different combos you can link together with other characters making about 10's of thousands of different combos you can pull off with your characters from ground assaults to impressive aerial maneuvers. Finding your' dream team and being able to utilize everyone's strength's and weaknesses is alot of the fun. Also every single character plays completely different nd has their own fighting style. Also it's not like some fighting games where their's a few great characters and everyone else sucks. With MVC2 if you practice enough with a character than you can whoop some ass with them regardless of which character you pick.
