Good game with some challanging puzzles

User Rating: 8.2 | Mario vs. Donkey Kong GBA
The game was excellent for the first four stages. It is broken up into eight levels, in six different stages for the first part. In the middle of the fourth, I got stuck in a puzzle that I couldn't figure out. I pretty much dropped the game and left it for dead after failing that level time after time. I had a blast with the game up to that, then once I got stuck the game got a bit too hard and monotonous.
Months later when I was grounded and had nothing better to do, I picked the game back up and solved the puzzle on my thrid try. It seemed obvious by then. After that I flew through the rest of the stages, and to my surprise, there were six more bonus stages after the original six stages. There was tons of gameplay packed into that cartridge. And on every level, you can get a high score, and highscores add up to win you even more levels called "challange" levels i believe.
It never occured to me, but there are walkthroughs online if you happen to get stuck on a level, so you won't have to drop the game if you don't want to. There is enough variety in the levels that you don't have to get bored with the game if you can keep advancing levels.
I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys puzzles, but there is some manuevering skills involved to move mario around. The hardest area is the puzzles, but what fun is a game without some challanges.
