Made for ONLINE AND MULTIPLAYER. Oh and actually you do unlock some pretty hard and fun modes.
REAL problems: They could have made it to where each Mii you had would have a different skill set like they do in Mario Kart. In Mario Kart, depending on the size of your Mii, the Mii would either be a heavy or a light and so on. This type of idea could have been used.
Volleyball should have had a bit more such as just being able to hit it over the net instead of only spiking and blocking, even so, its still fun.
Yes, the AI does suck.
having said that, this game is still fun and I could easily spend tons of time playing this with friends, which is what it is meant to do. This game was never supposed to be a masterpiece, but a great time with friends. If you play it for what it was meant for, you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Note, I have played a lot more and there is SO MUCH MORE TO THIS GAME. After you beat each cup in each sport, you can go back and play it again. Depending on where you start, you can access another path. In these paths, you have to continue playing your sport, BUT, you have to win matches with different goals in mind. Sometimes you only need to get steals for hockey. Sometimes the other team starts with more coins so that you can't let them score. NOT EVER ONCE in some cases. Also, sometimes you end up in mini games which are fun and challenging. Also, after beating each cup in each sport on the normal mode, you unlock a hard mode for that cup. THEN you can eventually unlock EXPERT for every cup as well as a mode known as sports mix.
One thing I didn't mention about the secret paths is that you may unlock other costumes and characters along those paths. There is so much to this game that it is even more clear that The reviewer of this game didn't even bother trying as did probably many of the people who reviewed it on here.
