Mario Party is a very popular series, and this addition to the series, is a great one. Mario Party 5 is a fairly good game. You'll find yourself playing Party Mode for a very long time, especially if you can do multiplayer. The game has a large amount of minigames too, a lot more than Mario Party 4 had to offer. This game also has some great other game modes. Being able to design and fight with a robot is pretty cool, but does get boring once you unlock all of the stuff. The bonus minigames are great though, they were very addicting, ice hockey in particular. I would play that game until I got eye strains. This game is good, but the Party Mode is so identical to the previous Mario Party games. However, it still is fun, especially if you're new to the series. If you've already played the past Mario Party games, consider renting it first.
