Its a fun golf game, especially because you can see what is going on

User Rating: 8.3 | Mario Golf GB GBC
I personally loved this game to death as it was pretty much the only game I played when it came to Gameboy Color. The only reaosn I stopped playing was because not only did I beat the game, but I also maxed out all my players stats and I couldn't recieve anymore experience.

Gameplay: Awsome. This game incorperates nearly everything you could wish for in a golf game for the Gameboy Color. The power and accuracy go by the simple 2 bars on a line... looks like [---l---l---l---l---] and it starts on the left and a cursor heads to the right. You want to click A when it hits the far bar for maximum power. The cursor then continues back to the left and you want to hit A when the sursor hits the left bar for the best accuracy. This works extremely well and in my opinion much better than the Tiger Woods system with the joystick.

Graphics: Good enough. With GBC you can really only do so much and Mario Golf does a good job letting you see what is happening.

Sound: Nothing special. A sound goes higher-pitched when the ball is at its highest elevation and it goes lower-pitched when the ball starts its flight and ends it. There is also a sound when the ball makes contact with a bunker, water or the ground, even though this sound is not too realistic.

Value: Moderate. It is a fun golf game for the GBC but now it is outdated and other golf games are beginning to come out, such as Tiger Woods.

Reviewer's Tilt: Its enjoyable but its a question of how enjoyable. Most people think it was worth the buy but barely.

Recommendation: If you are a golf fan, especially if you enjoyed Mario Golf for the N64, I think you should get this. It doesn't hurt if you have a GBC or GBA lieing around the house, the tough part is going to be getting a hold of the game.
