This game is best played in short bursts, but it is still very fun!

Madworld is a crazy psycho beat-em-up game for the Nintendo Wii, in which you play as a rogue government agent named Jack. The goal of the game is not only to kill your opponents, but to do so in different ways. There are many things you can do. Pin them against nails, throw them into garbage containers, chop them into tiny pieces, chainsaw them in half, or even stick signposts down their throats. Yeah, it's pretty gruesome, and it's not recommended for people under 18 years of age. The chainsaw is a weapon that comes attached to your arm, but it has a gauge that slowly decreases as you use it. The gameplay is entertaining at first, but it can grow old after awhile. I am a big fan of cel-shaded graphics, and I have to give the developers credit for at least trying to do something different by making it mostly black and white. However, it can be a pain on the eyes after looking at it for a little while, which is why I recommend that this game be played in short bursts. The gruesome scenes also come with sound effects. Hearing your enemies screaming while they are getting beaten up sounds funny, and hearing the Black Baron screaming "Hell naw!" while getting whacked by that Bloodbath Challenge woman almost caused me to fall out my chair! The big strength of this game obviously lies in its script. The game overall didn't turn out to be as great as I had hyped it for, but I still had a fun ride along the way. Not really a disappointment.
