A great art style.... a wonderful amount of red... and some good arcade style beat em up action
in fact i was obsessing over it months before the release
yet i didn't get it
it wasn't because i was broke... and it wasn't because something else came around... but i figured i would beat it in a short amount of time and move on... for 50 bucks that just isn't what i want to happen
but now a days... this is one of the best deals on the Wii
for only 20 bucks new this game is a must have
it's sad it didn't do so well because now there wont be a sequel
it's even more sad knowing i contributed to that
but what i thought would happen did
i beat the game in a couple days
but i still find it worth the 20 bucks
the action packed violence
blood splashing all over the walls
sticking polls through peoples heads... bashing them against spikes... cutting them in half with your chainsaw
this game is so entertaining and they switch it up enough to where right when you start getting tired of plain kicking arse they throw something at you thats different enough to keep you playing
now thats not to say the game doesn't get some what repetitive
but they switch it up enough to still be fun
there are a good amount of ways to kill people... and you can stack up the types of ways to kill a person with only one body
(example-throw a trash can over their head... then throw them against some spikes)
the combos get much larger than that
although after a while the ways you kill people start all seeming like variations of what the first few levels did the game still stays fun
with a dark sense of humor, and some great comic book art style cut-scenes this game is even entertaining to watch
the black and white graphics have no problems mixing together... enemies are easily singled out and don't blend with the environment at all (at least not in a bad way)
the game is a work of art
and the comic style story and the bad arse main character Jack make Madworld that much more of a classic
any beat em up fan should play this game.... but even if your not... i never cared for beat em ups and i enjoyed this game enough to want a sequel
for 20 bucks theres no reason to miss out ;)
