First off, it is very disappointing to see a legendary name like "MADDEN" throw together something and call it "NEW". The only difference I can see so far is that they dropped the almighty Chris Collinsworth and replaced him with Phil Simms and company. EA Sports also removed the MUSIC TRAXX that would blast while in the menus of the previous version. Aside from an updated roster, this game is literally identical to last year's game... Which is actually a good thing since last year's version of Madden was hands-down the best in the last three years. All of the mini-camp games remain intact, the menus and character animations look good and the gameplay is still solid. Using the wii-mote to create your own routes is probably the coolest feature to ever hit a sports game. Nothing is more exciting than taking total control of the animated players and making them run crazy routes all over the field just for entertainment. However, I am still disappointed I had to drop $45 in order to find that out.... Purchase at your own risk, gang.
