Ok, I have played some bad games. Some really bad games. But this takes the cake.

It is a shame too because the game looks fantastic, just the way you play it is so messed. For those of you not familiar with this game you are a hotel guest stuck in a control room after an alien attack. You can control locks, and speak to the character you are watching but you have no real control over besides telling her what to do, and there in lies the problem. Much like your team mates in the Socom Navy seals games sometimes she doesn't quite understand what you want her to do. That is understandable since Voice recognition software is touchy stuff I am sure but at least in socom you could go through menu's to command your troops if you couldn't get them to understand you. Here all you can do is keep repeating your self till she eventually understands it.

I will paint you a picture here. You are facing an enemy, it can be killed in just four shots, one in the left, middle, and right eye, then a plate comes off its head and a red eye is reveled. at this point you shoot the red eye once and it dies, or at least that is how it should work. In reality you say "left eye" Bam, left eye gone "Middle eye" bam middle eye gone "right eye" she starts running "stop" she stops "right eye" I cant do that any more she replies. "Right EYE!" ok I will run .... And it pretty much goes on like that until you finally get her to shoot the right eye, and again until you get her to shoot the red glowing eye and the thing dies.

It is not just that situation either, I have had it miss understand me so badly, even when I am speaking with a calm level voice, that it made me want to scream in frustration. "go to the bed" Ok I will go to the dresser. "stop" stops "Bed " Ok I will go to the hallway.

And that is as much of the game as I could stand, I went and traded it in after that. I would imagine that you would almost have to have the exact same accent and pronounce your words the same way as it was modeled after for the game to be in anyway fulfilling.

If you want to give it a whirl good luck, but you have been warned.

Ps, I am setting the difficulty to easy because if it would do what you tell it it would be easy.
