Looks like real lego, plenty of characters to play as, lots of quirky extras, big lifespan

--BAD--
Looks like lego (blocky, LOL), some of the driving sequences feel too linear, only the first three films (which are crap)

Greetings, today I am here to review Lego Star Wars on the Playstation 2.

Basically, this game involves the first three films in the Star Wars Trilogy being transfered into many lego worlds. All the key moments such as the jedi fights, vehicle sections and the odd war.

The gameplay is pretty simple with lots of killing droids and aliens as well as using your characters individual abilities and characteristics to solve the many puzzles that are present. There are also some vehicle sections involved such as pod racing and a starfighter. However, these sections are extremely linear and get boring after a while and some of them are really hard as well.

The graphics are alright in a sense that they look like realistic lego but that also causes a problem as it also makes the game look very blocky and limits how the characters look and move. The characters still manage to look like they do in the film though.

The music of the game is perfect, including the original Star Wars doo-doo-doo-doo-da-dee... sorry about that. The game also includes plenty of Star Wars-y action sounds and stuff as well as all thelaser sounds and explosions. However, since no voice acting has been used, the characters seem even more like lego, sigh, they could have been so much more.

Anyways, I loved this game being a Star Wars fan. The voice acting problem and the linearity as well as a bit of repetitive fighting only spoil this game slightly. But besides that this will be useful to any George Lucas Film Fan's Collection (GLFFC) yes it exists.
