A game that actually uses the ps3 motion sensor to the full...and the critics hate it. Why?

I got this game for a staggeringly low price of 4 bucks. Bargain? Hell yeah!
It's not the longest game, but it's certainly a different offering and a real challenge to master. Your basically a topgun fighter in medievil times, and instead of a F-14 your taking a great fireball puking dragon into battle against your sworn enemies, who have come to take over your land. Of course, they aldo have dragons of their own and other war beasts like elephants, rhinos, each with a human rider and weapons strapped to them. There is also a whole navy to contend with. Yep, it's all out war in this dragon flight-sim meets lord of the rings meets heavenly sword game.
The controls have been overly critcised in my opinion, and although I downloaded the patch to be able to play with the analogue sticks, I stuck with the motion sensor, as this is how the game was originally meant to be played. Honestly I find nothing wrong with the controls. They are responsive and intuitive and provide an immersive experience as you grab those dragons reigns to victory...or failure. Yes, I have one gripe, and that is that there are no checkpoints in some of the lengthy missions, which, given it's high difficulty, can become frustrating, but addictive at the same time, because it never feels cheap. And anyone who blames the controls for there lack of skill is just jumping on the bandwagon of hate for a beautifully designed game (if maybe slightly dated in the graphics department in 2010)with pretty good voice acting and a decent yarn to accompany it. The soundtrack is epic and has a certain John Williams style (ok it is blatantly starwars all the way through) which goes great with the gameplay and environment.
I highly reccomend this game to anyone who is into dragons and flight arcade games, as this has it all.
