a masterpiece of a game, as well as one giant WTF moment.

User Rating: 9.3 | Killer7 PS2
Killer7 has a very deep, and interesting plot, but it is also very confusing. The story revolves around Harman Smith, an old man in a wheelchair, as well as a professional assassin. Harman Smith can manifest a team of assassins known as the Killer 7, the members of the team are who you play as during the course of the game (you can swap between the whenever you want). The story is full of corruption, plot twists, metaphors, and keeps you questioning it constantly.

Gameplay- The story isn't the only thing that's odd about Killer7. The movement in Killer7 is done on "rails", now let me explain what this means; movement is done with the X button, there is always a set path that you have to follow, but there are "junctions" (areas where you can turn around) all over the place, the closest thing the movement resembles are (if you remember them) those 1st person RPGs where you navigate through a maze (for example, a Bard's Tale). the way you attack is by holding the R1 (ala, RE style) then it goes into 1st person, and then you can shoot at your enemies (The Heaven Smile). if you shoot certain weak spots on the Heaven Smile you can collect "blood" which is the currency of Killer7, with blood you can upgrade your characters, and as you upgrade your characters you will also earn new skills.

if you're a fan of deep, complex stories, as well as interesting characters, and noire-esque media you should definitely play Killer7
