Amazing, erie, provacative, disturbing, strange. This game does it all in the realm of mental confusion.

Killer 7 takes place in 2003 where the world has finally resolved all of the worlds problems and world peace reigns. Of course, these world peace kinda things never last long and after a short 5 years, a terrorist group called the Heaven Smile attack. At the same time, there's tension between America and Japan. So there's only one person, or should I say seven, that can stop the Heaven Smile. The Killer 7.

You take control of seven different assasins each with his or her own unique ability and gun. Each has a different ability such as invisibility, super speed, picking locks, and more.

Where this game shines is its graphics and story. The graphics in this game don't go for sharp pixels or amazingly real surroundings. It goes for artistic style. The characters all have a distinctive artistic style that cannot be described. Check out the screenshots and you'll know what I mean. The story is also very well done and it twists and turns when you least expect it.

While your character's movement is controlled by a rail syle were your path is already determined for you, this game is far from linear. There are twists and turns every where. One path may split into two which each split into another two which split into another two. The puzzles are simple for the most part and usually just require one to find the correct item. The shooting is where the fun is. The Heaven Smile is invisible and can only be shot when they've been scanned. When this happens you go into a first-person mode and you must kill your opponents before they latch onto you and explode. Killer 7 is a provacative game with plot twists and stunning graphics and gameplay. If one is willing to overlook it's disturbing plot line, it is an amazingly good game.
