Take back what I said about Vietiful Joe; THIS is strangest game on the PS2. You are the Prince of all Cosmos. Your father is the King of all Cosmos. After a little...hrmmm.....'overdose of alcoholic beverages', the King accidentally destroys all of the stars in the sky, including the moon. Now he enlists you to fix all of the things in the sky, since it OBVIOUSLY wasn't his fault. How will you do this? Well, by rolling things up on earth and turning them into stars of course! You'll start out all small, rolling around on a desktop. But fear not! You'll soon be rolling up skyscrapers! Besides rolling up stars, you'll also be making constalations. (I probably spelled that wrong) In each level, there will be things you won't be able to roll up. But once you get your katamari (your ball) big enough, you will be able to. You'll also be able to access new parts of a level once you get big enough. There are also things you cab collect in levels, such as Royal Presents and cousins. Royal Presents will allow you to add costume pieces to your character. You can pick up your cousins, which you can play as in the multiplayer mode. With a ton of unlockables, an excellent replay value, and a funny amount of cutscenes, this game is an absolute buy.
