Cool, but annoying

User Rating: 5 | Just Cause 2 PC
I can tell you this game is fun only some of the time, jumping on cars, parachuting, and lots of action. Too bad you can't aim very well, and there is no cover system so you'll take plenty of unnecessary hits. You can't stay crouched while moving, and running while shooting is super annoying.

The cut scenes are made horrible by terrible awful acting jobs, I can't believe they allowed this to go on. The dialogue is extremely bad, I can't even begin to express how annoying it is to listen to it. Just turn on the subtitles because the actors did the worst possible acting they could for every scene. Whoever directed this must have asked the porn stars for voices.

I don't see the great visuals that everyone else sees, this looks like every other game, but the explosions and towns look decent. The character models are dumb, but then again maybe it just looks bad because of the acting.

The story is about as interesting as an episode of Mash, and it get worse because you have to listen to some idiot talking like he's teaching something extremely boring, like... calculus.

The controls on the 360 and PC are worse than the acting, without a mouse you can not set your target, and auto targeting makes it so you'll never get a headshot. So you'll fire 8 rounds into every enemy which makes absolutely no sense.

For what little fun it has, it certainly isn't worth playing through the whole thing, the only thing they did good in the game was the features like car hopping and parachuting, and the grappling hook is a nice addition. But you have to have some tenacity in order to get through the awful voices and story. Just run around and cause chaos. Don't even bother buying the game, just rent it and play it for a few hours. It's not worth the time to get through it.
