Jet Grind Radio is the reason I got a Dreamcast. One of the most original games I have ever played and still a favorite. While the objective of the game is simple (skate around and tag things), you can just skate around for a while and still have a lot of fun doing so. There is a story, but you don’t really need to know that there is one. The graphics are cel-shaded, but that doesn’t make it bad. The style of the graphics are so unique and interesting, that sometimes you can’t help but stop and awe about how good they are. The controls are simple and not too complicated, which means that basically anyone can just pick it up and play it. The music is probably one of my favorite things about JGR. I absolutely love all the original tunes and the remixes included in the game. Simply put, if you own a Dreamcast, you absolutely must go and buy this game. No questions about it, one of the best games for the Dreamcast.
