Back in 200 no one could think of a new concept. It was all about jumping on platforms racing RPG's and then you have skating. The name of the game is Jet Grind Radio. To start off i would chose the story the story is about young teenagers spraying graffitti over other tags but these crazy cops with the leader of the police captian onishima who is trying to stop the gang violence of graffiti. In the way are also other gangs such as poisn jam who want to keep there tags there so they run up to you and hurt you. Theres also 3 playable characters to start GUM,BEAT, and TAB and theres more unlockables too. The gameplay in Jet Grind is amazing wich includes grinding skating and tagging but the catch is you need to get graffiti bottles of the street and then you can tag its like ammo in a shooting game. You also have to dodge all the inforcements and gangs wich can be hard at many times and it makes the game more challanging so thumbs up . Theres also ways to put your own custamation into your tagging by making your own tag by putting the letters you want and then picking the colors and twisting and turning them wich makes you feel like your really in the game. The controls in jet are tricky the game is really hard with all these things coming at you while your spraying so you have to time your jumps and think twice before you turn beacause the controls are a little akward. The graphics i n the game are really pretty. Not like gurly or anything there cell shaded wich makes it look good for 2000. The sound in jet grind radio is great the soundtrack is mainly j-pop but its not bad i wouldnt put it on my ipod or anything but i wouldnt turn the volume down. The voices are ok i just hate it when that jazzy DJ starts talking hes so annoying. Overall its a amazing game and if you have a dreamcast you need to buy it right now.
