The first game with guns, a point to the story, and a darker tone. That said, this game rocks.

This game is awesome. It's still kinda short, but you're really into it, you can try to collect all the precursor stones(a lot harder this time around). You'll 4 different guns that are all fun to use. You'll do lots of different missions. Instead of going in one direction for no reason and looking for stuff, now you're in Haven City. You do missions instead of collecting things which is a welcome change. You can hijack both heavy and light zoomers( flying vehicles) in several different styles. Even more attacks have been allowed due to the presence of guns. The hoverboard you get is just plain fun and amazingly useful. Not so much go find it crap anymore. Jak takes on a new and cooler look.( He has a shoulder pad! Yay!(that and a darker shade of blue are the only difference)). The new Dark Jak form isn't actually as cool as you might think. Sure you have enough awesome might to take down any number of enemies without even a scratch, but you can't exit out of it at will without totally expending you dark eco energy. Plus, you won't find many situations where you actually need to use it. Also, once you use it, it takes forever to recover the bar again to use it more. The graphics are a little better, and it doesn't quite so happy happy anymore. Fortunately, there is actually a point to the game from the beginning, unlike the first game. Overall, this game is quickly approaching excellence. 9 out of 10.
