It's a good game but it has its flaws.

Jak and Daxter is a great game that will make you enjoy it. There's always something. The graphics are to die for. Also unlike the precedents the N64 set for the levels being achieved by warp points in the overworld, J&D just has the levels branched off. So let's say the first 2 levels are the Forbidden Jungle and Sentinel Beach. If you get to the top of the temple in the Foribdden Jungle you can actually look out and see Sentinel Beach.
However the game is genuinely easy and is the first game I ever finished... when I was 6-years-old. Jak dies a lot and honestly Daxter's jokes are meant for children. The dialogue sounds monotonous and well to be quite frank the gameplay is more or less worth it.
And worth it it is because beneath all that annoying dialogue, is a game that is a game at its core. It's a great game and is something that is definately worth buying. Just don't spend too much.
