it may not be the most creative or original product within its genre, but it truly perfects and epitomizes its niche. Veteran 3D platformer fans may find Naughty Dog's beautifully sculpted natural settings routine or a place to call home, depending on taste. Yet, one thing most gamers will agree on is its excellent mechanics. The combination of perfect fluidity of motion and manual camera puts you in total control of your character and offers an experience rarely found in any game. The world itself is completely linked, meaning you can travel from the Jungle to the Beach to the Village, etc. without any loading times or interferences. The story doesn't bog you down, but is the perfect backdrop to a light-hearted adventure; while the characters are animated and humorous, featuring fantastic voice talents from the likes of Max Casella. I recommend this game to anyone who owns a Playstation 2; especially those interested in Action-Platformers and beautiful works of art.
