Fun adventure game. For fans of Indiana Jones, fun environments, arcade style play.

User Rating: 8.5 | Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings PS2
I will say right off the bat that the biggest drawbacks are the rough graphics and dated and limited camera control. My expectations were quite low having tried the same title for the Wii (terrible controls).
The game may appear to be in the same vein as 'The Infernal Machine' or 'Emperor's Tomb', but in truth the game is closer to an arcade version of one of those games. The areas are not as explorable as they appear, and your path is structured to facilitate both the quick pacing and larger than life stunts presented in the films.
Having said that, the more I've played it, the more I've enjoyed and appreciated the game. I will admit, that I am a huge fan of Indiana Jones and am likely to at least consider making any new Indy game one of my few gaming purchases.
This is not a game about deep thinking and problem solving- there are no items to collect/assemble/re-purpose, etc. This is game about quick thinking and leaving you breathless as Indy survives another close shave.
You may choose you go out of your way to collect relics. It is like another (good) Indy film, and I mean that in a good way.
You are not spending time collecting ammo, or health power ups. The environments are visually terrific, both in scope and cinematic quality.
