Good game, interesting characters, good graphics but too time consuming. Game needs too much time for completion.

Really enjoyed playing this game. It's my first introduction the culture of harvest moon, and I really liked the characters and the way the game was presented with the relationships. The events are really interesting, and all the festivals are recent and fun breaks from farming everyday.
However there is no basic storyline, and the game feels very drawn out. I have played it for many hours, about one season in of year three. The game requires a lot of time and patience, and there are so many activities you cannot neglect, at least it is prepared to keep you busy. As the game takes so long it does become a bit tedious.
Overall though, I like the game, especially as you can play as a girl- and play after you get married unlike 'Harvest Moon (DS): Cute'. However preparation is needed as the game takes up a lot of time for decent progress to be made.
