When I first heard of halo 4 I did not believe it. So when I got home in June of 2011 and went on YouTube I was stunned to see Halo 4 was real. And now that I have the game I can say 343 Industries did a fantastic job on the game featuring a great story and solid multiplayer. Story wise it is fantastic bringing back the Master Chief and Cortana as the main protagonists of the game. Voice acting is great as usual and I like that the Master Chief talks more often in this game unlike previous titles in the Halo series. My one gripe with the campaign is the length. The story clocked in to 6 to 7 hours which is a big disappointment as it kept wanting for more. Then there is the multiplayer which has changed a lot since Reach. I feel the multiplayer somewhat similar to Call of Duty as it is fast paced and features a create a class system like Call of Duty. Ranking system is the same as Call of Duty's which is a big disappointment because I loved the Halo 3 ranking system more than the persistent ranking system that Halo 4 offers. Overall this game is great but not perfect. Hopefully Halo 5 will fix these problems that Halo 4 has.
