Not only is this a great achievement for the xbox, its also the best game of the generation
I mean I loved all the other Halos but felt that Halo 3 and Reach were just filler by Bungie, I didn't feel the love or the ambition. Halo 4 really revitalises the franchise giving it a more mature feel and a more polished look.
The universe has been expanded exponentially and you finally feel like your involved in something earth shattering. The universe of Halo is massive, we know that, read the books and you will see, but the games have never really taken full advantage nor have we ever really felt like we were part of a grand world. Maybe its just the way the covenant was handled, an almost faceless, laughable enemy only there to act as fodder for the chief, maybe it was the lack of human interaction for the chief.
either way Halo 4 has completely blown away all of my expectations and provided me with the most amazing, most gorgeous, most intense and most exhilarating experience I have had since first buying an Xbox
the campaign is breathtaking and the multi player is and will always be better than COD, and before everyone decides to string me up by my ears and let me bleed out in the sun for saying it let me just say this. I have played several COD's on-line and the sad truth of the matter is this; they are only fun if you are able to do fairly well, I find I honestly don't enjoy COD because its so frustrating. With halo on-line I don't really care how well I do because I just love the game play, the map variety, the vehicles mixed with amazingly powerful weaponry etc. and the campaign is COOPERATIVE!! the most important part for me is being able to play through the story with my friend and working together to achieve something great.
Halo 4 is incredible, I have only rated it 9.5/10 because for whatever reason this retarded website won't let me put 10
