Yeah, basically everything to be said about this game has been said and I'm just throwing this little turd of a review on the stinking pile. The game is great, what do you want?

The controls haven't aged very well, nor would you expect them to. Especially when you go to the crosshair mode it gets pretty annoying. Actually I find that kind of funny, this game is credited with the revolutionizing of the FPS genre on consoles, and rightfully so. However, the direction the aiming in shooters would eventually take is more similar to the paint shooting vehicle in "Rocket: Robot on Wheels", but that's another review for another time. Basically, the self-centering aiming has not aged well AT ALL. The graphics for the time were alright, but they haven't aged. Since the game doesn't really have an art style it would be hard for the graphics to age well.

So, after all that, how do I call this a great game? Well, it's still pretty fun despite what was mentioned above. Also, you of course have to remember how it was back then. This was a big part of my childhood, as I was raised on the N64. Once you take the view of 1997 gamer, you realize that this was a big step in gaming.

In conclusion, the game is still pretty fun, but not nearly as good as it was 10 years ago.
