I just have to disagree with gamespot in this... This game was one of the best games of my childhood. I remember playing this like crazy... I never bought it, but I rented it every weekend. The graphics are good for a Nintendo 64, and gameplay may be laggy at times, but worth playing. Its kind of hard at times, and you will eventualy get lost, not knowing what to do, wich is frustrating. But the best thing about this game, that makes it not get 0, is the extreme nostalgia it offers. While you play this you will feel like you are inside the game, as strange as it might seem. I don't have any other way to explain this, but to say its because of its crazyness!!! I mean, you beat up falling grandmas and tiny ninjas, not forgetting the random anchors that fall from the sky and those strange floating paths in the middle of nowhere... I think you get it.... This results on extreme curiosity to know what crazy thing will happen next with Gex, or what random place in the dimension will he land. Thats what makes this game so good. You will get addicted for curiosity, or for forgetting its just a game and you are not actualy a fighting lizard. This game gets a 8.5 out of 10, and worth a look (years ago, of course).
