Unbeleivable waste of time...

This game is horrible. I played the first insertion in the Gauntlet series and it was alright for its time. However, this game, for its time, SUCKS. You've got four playable characters (which makes online play practically pointless), all of which aren't that great. The warrior looks kinda cool, the wizard has some cool moves, the elf is awesome (if you're into guys in green dresses and fencing), and the valkyrie is kinda fast. So, here's how it works: Step 1: Pick one of the four lame-o characters to play as. Step 2: Start of immediately into level one with pretty much no idea what's going except that your in a city in the middle of a war and you need to kill stuff. Step 3: Hack and slash your way through and endless army until you beat the level, making sure to pick up gold and food, along with Death who seems to have a thing for stuffing himself into chests. Step 4: Buy some combos (that aren't actually all that bad) along with a few stat upgrades. Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 over and over (except in different places), while occasionally beating the random boss dudes, until you beat the game. Well, wasn't that a fun waste of four hours??? How about NO. Oh, and by the way, this just being my personal opinion, i think the four IMMORTAL warriors shouldn't have been serving the emperor in the first place. They should've killed him along with his "trusted advisor demon guys" and then ruled the world themselves.
