Gauntlet Seven Sorrows is a great game for about a week. Then it just gets old and you never play it again. The main reason why this is, is because the story mode is very short and the game is not really challenging. The previous titles in the series were very long and tiring. They had over 100 levels each. Seven Sorrows only has 16 and they are less than 5 minutes each.

There are many new features that make the game much more compatible. Like the ability to buy special attacks with the gold you raised throughout the levels. Also you find weapon and armor upgrades periodically throughout the game. One key change is the ability when you gain a level you can pick the category you want the points to go in Damage, Mana, or Health.

The great thing about this game is that they added an online option that allows you to play co-op with friends all around the world and track your progress throughout.

In Conclusion Gauntlet Seven Sorrows is a great multi-player game and it is very entertaining to beat up on loads of enemies with all of the new special attacks. But the game lacks a long fulfilling story line to make the game enjoyable for more than a couple of weeks.
