What a great way to ruin the series!!!
What a terrible game. The gameplays shody the campaign was made by a 2 year old and theres no bases. I bought this game because i thought it would be a brand new, better version of dawn of war. Sadly it isn't. there is a... Read Full Review

this should be classified as R.P.G. not R.T.S. i was tricked into this and regret every peny paid on this game
For a game to be called R.T.S. it should have structures money system and building units which this game totally lacks, the difference between R.T.S. and R.P.G. is the thin line that is building stuff on the map during b... Read Full Review

Most strategy & tactics have gone, just click, click click. More CoH than Dow. Still fun but overall, disappointing.
DoW has always required quite a lot of strategy and skill. Mixing your troops, researching, building small bases, defend, attack, scout, disrupt. The problem with this game is that most of that has gone. Where before ... Read Full Review

linear and seen-it-all-before
I only played Dawn Of War three levels in, before quitting it. The levels are as linear as almost all other RTS's out there, the sound effects are the same silly boisterous chants as in other RTS's, the socalled customiz... Read Full Review

Not much of a sequel, not really the best thing ever, but definitely fun to play and deserving of a recommendation.
As with the reputation that relic has had over the years with real time strategy games, they have once again tried to do something new with dawn of war 2 by trying to what seems like combining different features from gam... Read Full Review

A great game, but not without flaws and shortcomings the game could have easily been released without.
I've been playing the game since the beta and I have to say it's an interesting take on the dawn of war series. It's less RTS oriented than its predecessor, but that doesn't mean it's without very strategic gameplay. T... Read Full Review

I am major dow fan and i have to say major disappointment. PLEASE READ MORE TO FIND OUT WHY
after much consideration, DOW is meant to be the computer version of warhammer 40000 on tabletop. the game it self is supposed to depict massive battles with armies on a grand level. instead they threw in some ideas from... Read Full Review

In the Grim Future of the Darkness there is only War! And war is exactly what we want!
A few minutes with Dawn of War 2 and you quickly realize, for all the hours you put into the first series you will gladly be putting that many or more into Dawn of War 2. While it's not a 'flawless' title there is no dou... Read Full Review
