Unlock God Hard mode with out having to beat the game.
At the title screen and rotate the Right Analog Stick 20 times in the same direction (clockwise or counter clock wise, it doesn't matter). You should hear a sound if done correctly.

It is possible to unlock God Hard difficulty without having completing the game first. At the title screen rotate the Right analog stick clockwise 20 times. When done, you will hear a sound meaning that you unlocked God Hard difficulty.

Unlock God Hard Mode Early
You'll need a controller for this. When on the title screen, rotate the right analog stick 20 times in the same direction, either clockwise or counterclockwise. If done correctly, you'll hear a chime. When you start up a new game, God Hard Mode will already be unlocked.
