Veterans enjoy Shogun 2 Total War; eyebrows still raised. Haven't I heard someone mention coastal assaults?
Okay, so I'm just giving Takeda a 5-minute breather to write this one. Kyoto IS amazing. So was the context-sensitive speech of my "Impetuous" (sigh...) Daimyo when I took it, in yet another unforgiving, bloody uphill/u... Read Full Review

I know "Best in Series" is a VERY controversial thing to say especially in the TW series, but hear me out...
Let me start off by saying that this game is NOT perfect (Hence its a 9, not a 10) but I think it is absolutely excellent and possibly the best Total War game. However, I'm going to start off with the bad. --------... Read Full Review

Finally a CA is back. The game is actually finished and balanced. Sure I would like DX11 but it allready looks great.
After reading some reviews I decided to give total war one more try, the support for empire was just poor so that game gave me a bad taste. Shogun 2 was surprisinly well balanced and fun to play out of the box. I play... Read Full Review

The first thing to say: wow! The second: congrats CA!
Well, my first thought was about this game (when pronounced) was - hmm, limited territories, limited units... after the Empire - why? - Anyway, I'm a big TW fan - so that wasn't question to have this came. After a few ... Read Full Review

10 years of game making experience- 10 years of bug breeding.
The game itself is amazing, the gameplay, the graphics, the music, etc. The AI has been vastly improved since well, any of them! The AI actually can surprise you and can make it quite fun and challenging. Even though ... Read Full Review

Long time Total War fan starting to get bored of this game already.
Sorry to give a bit of a negative review of this game but i'm a bit disappointed so far. Although the graphics, music and all round production values are beautifully done, there seems to be very little variety to the fac... Read Full Review

Simple yet complex. Narrower in scope, but more in-depth in strategy. A game with potential to be a masterpiece.
This game is the pinnacle of Total War series to date. Unlike Medieval 2 that tried to include too many things all at once, and ended up a nightmare in terms of balancing and bug/glitch issues. (M2:TW was still a goo... Read Full Review

Can you say REDEMPTION?
Lets be honest, when Empire: Total War was announced the whole of the strategy world was geeked. Until we played it. Then, as I was and I am sure you were.... only left with a bad taste in our mouth. A taste similar to w... Read Full Review

a good improvement in the Total War Series!
Shogun: Total War has in many points improved from the last TW Games. Graphically it´s good looking and generally atmospheric. The RPG Options to improve your generals and agents (as well as your MP Avatar) to your liki... Read Full Review

Rehash of a great game
I've purchased and played CA's games from the very start. Some say that this one is the best ever, I honestly can say its not. Yes it is okie good even, but its not a classic it just doesn't innovate or take the se... Read Full Review
