Shogun 2: Total War is great, gorgeous, entertaining and wonderful, yet i still can't say "this is THE game".
I have been a fan of the Total War Series since ever but i have only played Rome: Total War, some of the first Shogun Total War plus Medieval 2 Total War and I just started to play Shogun 2: Total War about three days ag... Read Full Review

Perfect!
After being drowned in first person shooters for YEARS now and games with little thought, this was completely refreshing! I'd thought RTS style games were dead, with each installment of Command and Conquer getting more r... Read Full Review

Beautiful campaign and battle maps, cool fighting, smooth, but oh so shallow. The game, sadly, gets boring, and quick.
I've played Total War since the first Medieval. I must say, Shogun 2 is the best of the series when it comes to graphical designs and combat animations, but after thirty or so hours of play, you simply get bored. I... Read Full Review

"Miss me yet?" Julius Caesar
I was excited with this game, because its the newest TW going back to swords and arrows, not like empire and ntw that is all guns, i just prefer the previous rather than the last two, because of the close combat action. ... Read Full Review

One of the best Total War games, but the many flaws can make it a miserable experience.
So you spend countless hours, chipping away at the enemy, perfecting your relations with other clans, building up your city, and army. You go to end your turn just like you have done the previous 120 times or so, and sud... Read Full Review

No middle ground; you will either love it or hate it.
This is one of those titles that is really hard to write an unbiased review about and that is because there is no middle ground, you will either love it or hate it. That said I will say first and foremost that I am of t... Read Full Review

For all the effort put into this meal, just a little more gravy would have made it perfect...
Just started playing it. It is beautiful visually, and deep, but there are a couple of features the lack of which disappoint. The naval system seems a bit limited. While acknowledging that at the time Japan was *not* a p... Read Full Review

Just great
They've polished it, tweaked it, and refined it...and it's great. Perfect? No. Are there still things I'd like to see added. Yes. But it's still great and alot of fun. It's certainly my favorite of all the total war g... Read Full Review

Clever, beautiful and brutal, but strangely dissapointing...
I find myself conflicted when trying to summarise this game. Everything appears to be correct, everything appears to run well.. but something doesn't feel right. Thats not to say I haven't enjoyed playing it, but there i... Read Full Review
