This isnt the Rome II i was expecting. This is Shogun 2 total war - Rome Edition!
Outside the obvious graphical breakthrough that's all it is, a more beautiful shogun 2 total war. And as other reviewers have said. The AI was way dumbed down and the new problem is that the enemy turn just takes so d... Read Full Review

Incredibly disappointing, doesn't belong next to other Total War games.
Not really much to say that has not been said already. * Battle AI incredibly stupid, no strategy whatsoever. All units, no matter size, faction, etc... immediately break into mosh pit upon contact and break rank. *... Read Full Review

I was hoping for the next gen in total war games....I was wrong.
Ultimately this is the same game as the first one ten years ago. Problem is, it doesn't look that much more amazing for a decade to have passed. It has the SAME broken ai, stability issues, qorky camera. I will say it's ... Read Full Review

Total War: Totally Broken
Im going to start with the positive because this is a game that pulls on a large portion of my heart strings and that is the reason I'm writing this review and probably one of the reasons I'm so overwhelmingly disappoint... Read Full Review

Needed more dev time, could have great potential.
Long awaited Rome: Total War 2 has come out ! I can only assume that the same engine is used with Shogun 2, considering there are too many similarities. As we all know, there is the combat and the campaign map feature... Read Full Review

Rome 2 is terribly boring
I waited for a long time for this game and I was completely disappointed. Here is why: 1. Although relatively faster to load in comparison to Shogun 2, the turn takes forever even when graphics quality is reduced 2.... Read Full Review

Unfortunately not what I was waiting for. Not what was promised. Not worthy to be part of Total War.
Rome II is proof that as game companies become successful they start to care more about fast profits than about the things that got them where they are. Total War built its legacy over a decade and they never disappoin... Read Full Review

Great game with classic CA bugs that the modders and patches will have to finish.
Great game with a few minor launch bugs that the modders and patches will have to finish in classic CA fashion. I think Sega may have made them push it out before it was ready. But i am loving this game and its campaign.... Read Full Review
