What Gamespot Users have to say about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

A stripped-down campaign and repetitive gameplay make The Force Unleashed II a very disappointing sequel.
How do you make a sequel to a game that has its protagonist die in the final act? The same way you fix anything in the Star Wars universe: you make a clone. Though Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II cleans up its predec... Read Full Review

4 hours to beat the game, and none of it is enjoyable. Awful story as well. Technical-overkill basically ruins the game.
Wow, this is gonna be a short review. I beat this game in almost exactly four hours, and that is adding on some time I took to play a couple challenge modes. There is little to go over, and almost none of it is good. ... Read Full Review

Force Unleashed II is a rushed game that was made just for money.
Remember the first Force Unleashed? It was a blast and won a handful of awards. The sequel? Well.....it's not that great. In Force Unleashed II you play as Starkiller as you travel across the galaxy in search of a woman ... Read Full Review

A lot of the same, but some new qualities that will keep you interested.
If you've played Star Wars: The Force Unleashed then you will know what to expect from this sequel. It is more or less the same game, just an add-on to the story started in the first one. This review is going to be quite... Read Full Review

Another sequel that doesn't live up
Before buying SWFU II, I made sure I picked up the orginial which was going for about $15. I'm glad I did, because thinking of paying $75 for both games makes me feel much better then the thought that I paid $60 for SWFU... Read Full Review

Oh boy! What happened here?
I love the first Force Unleashed game to death. Played through multiple times, all Holocrons, and 500 kills will almost all force powers. So don't get me wrong when I say this game sucked. The game play is pretty much... Read Full Review

All style, no substance, and way too short to enjoy. One of the most disappointing sequels I've ever played.
This picks up after the first game where Starkiller reappears as a clone (at least that's what Vader wants him to think) who is haunted by the memories of the original Starkiller. Once he escapes from Vader, he goes on a... Read Full Review

Playing in the Star Wars universe is always fun, but in this case is also a little repetitive...
I didn t want to get this game because of the GS score, but a friend got it, I played it and I liked it. First of all, let me start by saying that the GS score is totally unfair. This game is an entertaining game in i... Read Full Review

Solid follow up to a good series in the Star Wars game!!
I played the first Force Unleashed and really enjoyed it! It's kind of nice to play an actual level game instead of the more usual open world games!! Unleashed 2 picks up the story but amazingly Starkiller is alive (or... Read Full Review

Force Unleashed delivered better gameplay then the first..but it was rushed and released like children had done it.
Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 was..how do I put it bluntly..Lame. It was boring, repetitive, short, and easy. Combat: Starkiller comes back to life as a clone in this sequel to the first game, but with dual wielding li... Read Full Review
