Access Japanese version of game.

Go into the language settings in the Xbox dashboard, and switch the language settings over to Japanese. The Japanese version will then load up when you insert the disc. Complete with Japanese menus, and voiceovers.

Level Select

Beat the game as any team, and then go back to the team select screen and select the team that you beat the game with. A level select will appear which allows you to select the first level of any of the game's themes (Seaside Hill, Grand Metropolis, etc.). This is the only way to replay levels and still be able to access bonus and special stages.

Last Story

Beat the game as all four teams and the LAST story will appear on the team select screen if you press RIGHT while highlighting Team Chaotix. Note that you can't select this story until you have collected all 7 chaos emeralds.

Extended Casino Park

Get to the goal ring with Team Rose. Use your team blast to increase your speed. Go on the "railing" on the platform you are on and try to fly to the other side. You can now play the extended version of Casino Park but you will not be able to go to the VIP room.

Extended Frog Forest

Go to Frog Forest with Team Rose. When you reach the goal ring, let the frog close to it make the rain fall. This will cause a vine close to the goal ring to grow. Use Team Blast to to increase your speed. Then switch to fly formation and grind on the vine as fast as you can, jump at the end of the vine and try to fly to the other side. Now you can play the extended version of Frog Forest.

Extended Bullet Station

Get to the end of the stage with Team Rose. Get on the rail as Cream, and at the rail's high point, jump off and fly towards the triple-rail above/ahead of the ring. (Cream must have advanced to level 3 in order to do this correctly.) You can now play this stage for a while longer as Team Rose.

Thunder Shoot/Formation Change Glitch (Quick Team Blast Gauge Buildup)

At any time, while in Flight Formation and while touching the ground, hold down the attack button and either formation change button at the same time. With correct timing, you will switch formations and the Flight character will attempt to use Thunder Shoot simultaneously, but because you are no longer in Flight formation, the Flight character has no one to throw, and the first frame of Thunder Shoot's animation will repeatedly play while you hold the buttons, causing the Team Blast gauge to fill rapidly. You will know you did it right if you see the Flight character levitate into the air while glowing and hear a loud glitched sound effect. This glitch can be used to completely fill the Team Blast gauge whenever you want!

Rouge Wink

When playing as Team Dark and playing as Shadow or Omega, stop moving, enter first person mode, and look at Rouge. If you look at her long enough, Rouge will turn to the camera and wink.

In the Metallic Madness clash, evade the crystal attack more easily.

In the second and third phases, which you use as Team Chaotix and Team Dark: Metal Sonic will fire crystal attacks and those can trap the players, but they only impact on the ground. You can use the flight formation and fly upwards and not move in the air. The meter won't decrease as long as you remain still in the air till he completes the attack.
