old-school, light and low-budget turn-based RPG definitely worth to try
I like the idea of rebuilding good old titles. I played Xcom:Enemy Unknown last year, which was a masterpiece from Firaxis, and As a turn-based RPG shadowrun returns comes off feeling like that. But unlike Xcom, Shadowru... Read Full Review

Strip down! Shake down! everybody get down!
so im a bit biased as I have played every shadowrun product minus the xbox game (and that doesn't count anyways). We started playing the pnp game midway through first edition and played through up until just a few years... Read Full Review

Well it just reminds me of the old fallout tactics but with better graphics ; considering its 2013 .
Let me describe this in terms of the good and the bad. The Good : cool story ; not just plain shooting turn based game ... but you gotta do lots of reading while you are playing this game and in my own opinion its a fu... Read Full Review

Shadowrun Returns has a great story, but is light on combat and has an unfair save system
The Good: Highly enjoyable story, fun combat, interesting characters and setting The Bad: Unbalanced and some times boring combat, no exploration, unfair save system, average graphics Forget about the last Shadowru... Read Full Review

Shadowrun Returns provides a dynamic and deep strategy game wrapped in a dark and engaging world.
Shadowrun Returns revisits the world of Shadowrun: a not-too-distant future Earth that has seen the return of magic, and with it the rise of meta-humans like elves, trolls and dwarves (presumably not the kind we have alr... Read Full Review

(NOTE: The core campaign runs for about 12 hours. I have replayed it several times, hence the 'hours played' being so much higher) Shadowrun Returns is defiantly old-school, in terms of everything from the core design t... Read Full Review

The dystopian atmosphere grows on you, but it leaves you hanging, begging for more.
I can always appreciate a game that functions as something more than entertainment. Shadowrun Returns is a critique of the status quo, a prophecy of what will come if we remain in a state of ignorant bliss. It's set in a... Read Full Review

Reminds me of RPG of old. Great storyline and immersive gameplay.
This game reminds of the good old days (think late 80s to 90s) where computer RPGs were made great because of the gameplay and storyline, instead of flashy graphics. The story is very well-written and keeps one glued ... Read Full Review

Pure garbage
Nothing to say about this game. When you dumb down game so even 6 year old can manage to play it then there is no hope. That's is shame because there is nice big maps but nothing to explore. It's just random linear garba... Read Full Review

What a total disappointment.
I loved the first Shadowrun (1989). What a shame that the 2013 release has done away with everything that made the first one great. Shadowrun Returns (2013) is completely linear , has a shallow storyline, poor character ... Read Full Review
