Addicted to root beer after playing this!

Root Beer Tapper is a remake of the 1983 arcade game Tapper. In Root Beer Tapper, you play as a (Mario look-a-like) bartender who has to serve his thirsty customers with large mugs of frosty root beer. You have 4-6 table... Read Full Review

    Are you thirsty?

This game is the ancestor of "Diner Dash" and all the other hurry-to-get-stuff casual titles that have come out lately. It would not be appropriate to build a kids' arcade game where the character served real beer, so th... Read Full Review

The right game at the right price.

Root Beer Tapper is one of the lesser-known classics of the golden age of arcade games way back in the early 80's. Therefore it's good to see it make a new appearance on XBOX Live here in good 'ol modern times. In it, yo... Read Full Review

Good arcade classic that isn't played enough

Root Beer Tapper is a solid arcade game. I think that the emulation on the 360 is done perfectly and the game plays without any hiccups. Tapper looks good thanks to bring colors and good looking sprites. The game so... Read Full Review

A fun game to play now and then, especially on Xbox Live, but nothing special I'll be talking about in a couple years.

Root Beer Tapper is fun. If not for Xbox Live it'd be terrible. It's fun to compete on Xbox live but you're basically playing the same first 3 levels again and again and again. I'm not saying it's a terrible game, but... Read Full Review

    Too much foam.

You will not find any bias rants about this "classic" in this review. I am one of the only person in their twenties who have not played this growing up. I guess I didn't have it on my ol' Commodore 64 or my NES... Read Full Review

Not the best XBLA game out there, but it's fun for about five minutes.

Okay the reason this game and almost every other retro game gets a low score is that they are not as fun as they used to be. Don't waste your money on this or most of the other retro games out there. The only old schoo... Read Full Review
