Alternate Costumes
To gain Access to special costumes hold the L and R triggers on controller 2 at the ''July 1998'' screen. While holding them down, press START on controller 1.When the game starts you should have new costumes.

Battle game

Permanent Battle Mode
Simply defeat the game once and the Battle Mode would be unlocked permanently. In other words Battle Mode would be available even without cheat.

Infinte Magnum Ammo in Advanced Mode
When you place the red jewel into the tiger statue, three cases of magnum ammo will be revealed for the taking. Take one (or two), leave the room, and then enter it again. All three cases will have respawned. Use this as many times as you like for infinite ammo.

Special Key
Beat Jill Valentine's Scenario by keeping Barry Burton and Chris alive or Chris Redfield's Scenario by keeping Rebecca Chambers and Jill alive and save your game on a empty save slot. Load that save up and you will have the Special Key in your inventory. It can be useable in a room in Mansion 1F which in turn will grant you a costume change for your character. Depending on what Game Mode you play (Rebirth or Classic Mode), you will recieve different clothing for each character.

Deflect acid-spit in the Masters of Knifing Mini Game. (Rebirth Mode)
Isn't it annoying when those pesky Zombies spit acid at you and it's difficult to avoid getting hit? There is an easy way to prevent it: When they spit acid, blow into the mic and it will be deflected back at them instead. This is an EXTREMLY helpful way to get a highsore in Masters of Knifing.

Touching Jill and others
Leave Jill alone until she enters her inactive animation (hand-on-hip pose).
Get your stylus and give her a tap in the chest area, or if she's facing away from the camera, tap her behind. Marvel at the bonus animated resposes. You can do the same thing with Chris as well.Contributed by: C0N50UL
