Rambo Cheats For NES

1. Skip the Flying Fortress

   When you reach the final enemy camp, find the POW and rescue him. Then go to the wall and jump into the upper right corner, jiggling the control stick left and right rapidly while hitting the corner. If you are successful, you can go through the wall and back to your helicopter.

2. Turn Commander Murdock into a frog

   Defeat the Flying Fortress and proceed to your helicopter back to your base. Go right until you see Commander Murdock running back and forth near the hangar. Fire any weapon at him and a symbol will launch forth, it will turn Commander Murdock into a frog on contact.

3. Alternate Events

   Rambo's first mission is to infiltrate a P.O.W camp and take pictures. When you do get to the first P.O.W. you get the option to rescue him or take a photo. If you follow your orders and take a picture; when you go back to base, Murdock will scold you saying the mission is to rescue the POWs. You get automatically transported back to the P.O.W and you HAVE to rescue him or else you can't finish the game.

4. Co is Alive During the Ending

   After Co rescues Rambo from the prison camp, Rambo will then meet with Co at the base of a waterfall. If you talk to her, she's attacked and will die. I you do not talk to her, then she won't die and will appear at the main base during the ending.

5. 15 EXP ANY TIME / EXTRA POTION

   15 EXP
   
   Any time during the game, stand still, then press DOWN 100 times in row to increment EXP counter to 15
   
   Extra Potion
   
   At any time during the game, stand still, press the D-pad direction once in all directions without pressing again and do this more than 16 times to get a free extra potion up to 9. Press until you hear a beep
   up, right, down, left you press once and complete the combination, and no matter which direction to do it, the main thing is not to press the same direction several times. (you need to type the combination quickly)
