Pro Evo... It's a question of taste.
Time was when Pro Evolution Soccer was the game of choice for the discerning football fanatic. It was all about the game-play. PES 2008 is no exception to the rule – or is it? For sure there is no disputing the flow of t... Read Full Review

Fantastic return to form with PES2008
Firstly, yes I really enjoy this game. Secondly - in my honest opinion - it IS better than Fifa 08. Some people say that PES2008 plays fast, yes it does, if you compare it to the awfuly SLOW PES6 that is. Dribblin... Read Full Review

Bought every ISS/Pro Evo since about 1998 N64, PS1,PS2 and now this final offering is the most disappointing.
When i first played the game on demo on the 360, i was very excited, the graphics were a big step up and i couldn't wait to see how Konami worked on PS3 one, but i now realise why no PS3 demo was available. Its because w... Read Full Review

Gamespot's UK review is so bang on...i feel like i shouldn't bother writing this one....
But i will and i'll keep it short and sweet (or maybe not so sweet for the PES fanboys). PES 2008 just does not cut the mustard, Kanomi were on thin ice last year with regards to the online aspect, the new features and u... Read Full Review

What? It was LAST year's Pro Evo that was awful; this one is a return to form.
After playing last year's Pro Evolution I was heartbroken, and thought I would have to switch to playing FIFA (something I never would have considered before). The game was a huge disappointment; graphics and sound were ... Read Full Review

An evolution rather than a revolution
Konami's first attempt at next-gen football, Pro Evolution Soccer 6, was an example of what not to do. The game was essentially the PS2 version upscaled (badly) for the 360. This year though Pro Evo has been developed fr... Read Full Review

This next game in the series is definitely worth getting, because the gameplay is amazing. Some of the positive aspects of the game are gameplay, graphics, soundtrack, commentary and the master league. However some of th... Read Full Review
