Mario and Luigi didn't win the mushroom cup...
GAMEPLAY: 7.0/10 The gameplay is good for anybody. The fun tennis action is exciting. There are three modes, Standard, Ring, and Item Battle. There are 3 stages (The Peach Domes) with these modes. Then there are other ... Read Full Review

You will initially like the game but realize that there is not much to it after the first 3 hours.
Mario Power Tennis for the Wii is one of the many games Nintendo has decided to remake and incorporate the Wii-Mote function. WIth that said, it seems that in doing so the game seems less fun. You'll find yourself just s... Read Full Review

Just as great as it was when it was on the GameCube, Mario Power Tennis is quite literally a smash.
Ah, Mario Tennis! I remember the good old Nintendo 64 days when me and my friends played it for hours on end during those late, Pizza Hut and Pepsi nights. Mario Power Tennis is essentially a Wii port of the GameCube g... Read Full Review

This is solid proof that even though the idea seems good, the game can turn out to be bad.
On paper, Mario Power Tennis should be a great game. First of all, the original was a success, so you can say that Mario Power Tennis has worked before. What has also worked before is tennis with motion control on the wi... Read Full Review

Still Holding up like it did for GC
Mario Power Tennis for GC was near perfection. 5 years later they make it for the Wii changing the controls and not much else. It is now obvious that Mario Power Tennis didn't need to do anything but change the controls.... Read Full Review

It will make you come back for more...out of frustration
I'll admit I'm not a natural sports enthusiast. Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart are more my usual realms of 'Mario-ness'. The 'standard' game, in which you are playing on various court types (grass/clay/hard) keeps... Read Full Review

The amazing new controls make this Mario sports classic worth revisiting. Wii Sports Tennis--your time is up.
Although tennis is perhaps the most obvious sports game to make for Wii, tennis games for Wii really haven't been anything special. In fact the best tennis offering has been Wii Sports Tennis-which came free with the con... Read Full Review
