Easily, one of the least interesting MMOs I've ever tried
I'm a beta tester for several MMOs and I've been doing a lot of trials of different ones recently. I've played WoW, EVE, SWG, Vanguard, EQII, APB, NFS World, SCII, among others. I had always been curious about Guild Wars... Read Full Review

Guild Wars, the game that changed MMORPGS.
Guild Wars, the game that changed MMORPGS. The first thing you notice when you play Guild Wars, is the great graphics it has (for a 6 year old game). You enter into an amazing lush city named "Ascalon" in the "pre-sea... Read Full Review

A late review? Maybe. But worth a read!
Guild Wars is an MMORPG that completely slipped past my radar, despite its high praise and grand reception, namely because the giant, engrossing, life-stealing vampire that is World of Warcraft was all up in my radar sho... Read Full Review

This review is from a seasoned vet after all stand alone games and the expansion have been out.
This review will assess the state of affairs in the current Guild Wars game. When Guild Wars first came out, it deserved 9.5 out of 10. Now, it truly only deserves a 5.5 - the difference is what the add ons do to an MMO.... Read Full Review

I purchased the game about two years ago, played for a short time and haven't played since. It's a very good leap from the older MMORPGs and, in my opinion, a much needed improvement over World Of Warcraft. The des... Read Full Review

Very WoW like. Better to play with friends as some quests require skilled group.
The game doesn't really cater to solo game play, even though you can hire "henchmen" to help out on quests. They usually tend to die however, very quick. Make sure you ALWAYS have a healer on your team, especially if you... Read Full Review

The first real Guild Wars expansion that reveals where the series is heading
Guild Wars Eye of the North (or GWEN for short) is and expansion to any of the previous Guild Wars campaigns. That means you must have a Guild Wars game in order to play GWEN. This is officially the last chapter in Gu... Read Full Review

Nice addition, but probably not a good campaign to start with.
Guild Wars Factions is not an expansion to Guild Wars aka Guild Wars Prophecies. It is actually a stand alone campaign that you can play without previously owning Guild Wars. If you do already own any Guild Wars campaign... Read Full Review
