Good, but got boring fast. Still a good upgrade from the NES original...
I haven't always been a fan of the Dragon Quest series, but I still buy the new installments because they always seem to have something new and interesting for me to try. In this remake of Dragon Quest 4 for the NES, thi... Read Full Review

The Dragon Quest Series defining game is now potable. And now it comes with content never before released in the US.
In the United States Square Enix's Dragon Quest series could easily be considered the often times forgotten mild child of the Square Enix rpg family. Completely opposite is the way the series is treated in Japan, the se... Read Full Review

Not bad... not great
I love everything Dragon Quest. I have been a fan from day one when I was a kid. This game looks great on the DS and is fun to play. However, do not try and compare it to Dragon Quest 8 or Dragon Quest Monsters - Joke... Read Full Review

One of the best 8-bit RPGs!!
Dragon Warrior IV brings all the goodness of number 3 but gives us a group of characters that is inter-connected in a plot. The game is divided in Chapters which makes you wanna play this game until the end. The graphics... Read Full Review

One of the best RPGs of its day, Dragon Warrior IV has become a timeless classic
In 1990, a year after concluding the trilogy of the first widely popular Dragon Warrior (a.k.a. Dragon Quest in Japan) series, Enix released Dragon Warrior IV, which was a whole new story, completely independent of the o... Read Full Review

Dragon Warrior 4 is one of the greatest RPGs on the NES. Its a very long satisfying game and even has its own AI system.
Dragon Warrior 4 doesn't follow the saga of the first three but instead starts off the heaven saga in the series. This game has some pretty good graphics for NES and features plenty of characters, monsters, spells, item... Read Full Review

A rare better-than-original sequal!
A truly fantastic game, it starts out slow and lets you amass an army of 8 characters how you start out playing with (totally oblivious to how they are connected to each other until later on). Dragon Warrior IV connects... Read Full Review
