Steal Lives
If you die in a two-player game, hit Start to pause the game, then hit Select to steal a life from your partner.

Happy Ending
Take the Crystal (found in Room 99) to Room A0. At the final boss (Room B3), fire at him until he is encased in a bubble. Now, instead of popping it right away, first hit Start to summon Player 2 (you must have at least one life left). Now pop the bubble for the ''good'' ending.

Secret Tomb
Get all the way to Level 20 without dying, and a door will appear on the screen. Enter the door and you'll be taken to a secret tomb, which is a level full of diamonds.

Secret Rooms & Secret Messages
If you can make it to Level 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 without dying ONCE along the way, a secret door will appear. The Secret Rooms found in Level 20, 30 & 40 contain large amounts of bonus items as well as a SECRET ENCODED MESSAGE on the lower half of the screen.
The first line of the secret message is THE ALPHABET (ABCDE...) that you must use to decode the message. The code is the same for every room & will be needed to decode the secret message at the end of the game (to open up Super Bubble Bobble). You may want to take a screenshot of these rooms so you can decode the secret messages later as the game may force you to proceed through the game.The Secret Door in level 50 is actually a 20-level warp, taking you directly to level 70.Contributed by: TStodden

Bubble turned to candies in each level
When you kill all enemies in levels 1,5,10,15,20,25,30 and so on, all bubbles turn to candies (700 points).
To make this happen in all levels you have to kill the last enemy when one of the players have points finishing in 110, 220, 330, 440, 550, 660, 770, 880, 990 or 000.Contributed by: borfo

Sound Test
First, connect an extra joystick in the Famicom's expansion port. At the title screen, press Up-Right in the extra joystick and Down-Left in controller 1 at the same time. (If you can find a way of pressing all 4 crosspad buttons on controller 1, then you don't need the extra joystick). If done right, you'll hear a sound. Now, hold either Right, Left, Up, Left + Select, Right-Down, Left-Down, Up-Left or Up-Right controller 1 and press A on controller 2 to hear the different music and sound effects.
