1. Get the highest bonus points after beating a stage

   Bonus points are given after beating every stage except for the final one. Depending on how long it takes you to fight Jeb as a werebeast the game will award you appropriately. The highest bonus points given is 100,000 and can be awarded if you transform into a werebeast the first time you meet the twin-headed wolf pack. You must hit all three white wolves whenever they first appear and nab all three spheres at that moment before fighting Jeb in order to receive the highest bonus available in the game.

Altered Beast Cheats For Genesis

1. Beat the game completion scene after beating the game

   When the credits are being displayed on the screen after you have beaten the game, you can control your character to kick away the credited names.

1. Hard Game

   After the game ends and the credits are over, wait 30 seconds in the "Asmik" logo and press Start to begin a much harder game.

   At the title screen, hold Down and press Reset. The title screen should now have the phrase "Free Play". Once you see that, hold Up and press Start.

   At the title screen, hold Down and press Reset. The title screen should now have the phrase "Free Play". Once you see that, press Select the number of times (minus 1) of the stage you want to start in. For example, Stage 8 = Select 7 times.

   This can only work on the "continue" screen (when the hero is dead). Press SELECT button the input a stage jump function, press it once to skip current stage, press twice to skip current and next stages and so on, then press START to appear in that stage.

1. Level Select, Sound Test, Options etc

   All of these codes must be entered at the title screen.
