A fun time killer,nothing more.

User Rating: 7.5 | Fruit Ninja AND
Fruit Ninja has over 5,500,000 downloads on Android Market. So you probably wonder,is it really that good?

Gameplay:There are 3 game modes in Fruit Ninja:Arcade,Classic and Zen Mode. The main goal of all three game modes is to slice as many fruits and form combos. But in Arcade your time is limited to 1 minute and bonus fruits fly out,one of them freezes the timer and gives the slow mo effect, another makes alot of fruits fly out from both sides and the third one doubles your score.Classic is probably the most simple mode, you get unlimited time and you have to make sure every fruit is sliced, after 3 fruits fall down its Game Over. And Zen is sort of free mode, you get 2 minutes time limit and no bonus fruits fly out.
Slicing those fruits is as really satisfying especially when you get 5 or 6 combos.Overall the gameplay is simple and addictive.

Graphics:Not much to say here.2D background with 3D fruits flying out, wich leave their juice on the wall.

Sound:The sound in Fruit Ninja is pretty "ok".You get a decent main menu theme, plus some water breezing sounds during gameplay, the sounds of fruits being sliced and that *squash* sound add something to the satisfatcion of slicing fruits.

Replayability:You won`t get bored with Fruit Ninja, that`s for sure.

Extras:Fruit Ninja on Android uses Open Feint. That means you get 30 achievements and Leaderboards.Nice achievements, but the leaderboards are pretty broken. All of the top players in all game modes have hacked scores.

Overall:A good game, and for your 1$ you sure get alot of replayability.
