I hope this isn't a silly question, but seeing as Type 0 and 15 are both on XboxOne, is there a chance they would port the X/X2 Remaster? I would love the chance to play those games again

hmm, I don't even think its on ps4 is it? I thought it was a ps3 game. I wouldn't bet on it honestly, the game will not sell very well on an xbox console. they have no reason to port 15 year old games that aren't even xbox games to begin with.

It is coming to PS4 indeed, in May http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/games/final-fantasy-x-x2-hd-limited-edition/119235

I didn't really like the X/X2 remaster when my fiancee got it. They...changed the music. And it isn't as good anymore, imo. They like re-recorded it. It kinda ruins things if you heard the originals before because they are better.
The chances of the game coming to Xbox One are unlikely given there is no discussion of it since the announcement of the PS4 HD update. Whether we will see it come E3 is another matter, but my guess is we wont given it has not been on Microsoft hardware thus there could be a licensing reason for it not to appear on the Xbox consoles. Hopefully one day it will though, but given the lack of other Final Fantasy games (such as 1 to 12, outside of XI, the MMO and the games that came to Xbox 360 at the same time as the PlayStation such as XIII), I would say it is unlikely.
NO, but like stated its not a big deal. They are releasing the same remaster but in 1080 instead of 720. There isn't much changed since the remaster that was released about a year ago. I would recommend picking it up, it's an amazing game.
Sadly, I think we aren't going to see if if we've not heard anything about it. And TBH I think Square Enix dropped the ball on not putting out Xbox/PC versions of those games. Same deal for Kingdom Hearts. Fortunately I have a PS4.... but I can't help but feel that not making FF games multiplatform feels like a regressive move.

Good news. The PS4 version of the remaster is going to have the option to alternate between the original and remixed soundtracks.

You have to click "To a URL" (as opposed to "To Gamespot content") then paste in the link.
It really should if you ask me. Although I am sure asking for a Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey remaster would be a safer bet in this cse...
@Articuno76: Oh cool, that's pretty good news. Well I wouldn't mind playing it again, so I guess I'll wait and see if she decides to get the PS4 version. I just couldn't stand some of that remixed music though, it took away from the game for me.
@LauriAJ: Wouldn't mind playing Lost Odyssey again, either. I wish that game would have turned out the way Mistwalker originally envisioned it, though. I remember reading that they developed the game alongside Microsoft, and that the communication wasn't very good and a lot was lost in the collaboration. Still a fairly likable RPG, wouldn't mind seeing some sort of sequel or spiritual successor to it.
